The Heat will try to contain Embiid with Bam Adebayo, who is a Defensive Player of the Year candidate.
It will be a tough matchup for Miami because Embiid had 16 points, two assists and one turnover with Adebayo as his primary defender, according to the NBA’s matchup data.
Miami qualified for the playoffs in the Play-In Tournament last year.
